Gabriella Palmieri

Italian Attorney General

Gabriella Palmieri was appointed Italian Attorney General in 2019, after having served as Deputy Attorney General from 2016. Previously, she was member of the State legal team in various disputes before the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS), and in 2009 she was appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Agent of the Italian Government before the Court of Justice and the General Court of the European Union. She is President of the Sports Guarantee Board of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), member of the Advisory Board of LUMSA University, and member of the Board of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
