Andrea Zoppini is a Full Professor of Civil Law at Roma Tre University School of Law. He frequently acts as arbitrator in both ad hoc and institutional procedures. He obtained a Law degree summa cum laude from “La Sapienza” University of Rome and completed his education at the Universities of Cambridge and Heidelberg. He has been a Visiting Scholar at Yale University and at NYU. He is the author or editor of several books and is member of the editorial committees of the most prestigious Italian private law reviews. Also, he often publishes on law and business topics on Italian national newspapers. He has been Under Secretary of Justice, Legal Advisor to the Italian Government, Advisor to the Ministry of Economy and to the Central Bank of Italy, as well as member of numerous law reform committees, including on corporate law, non-profit organizations and foundations, and bankruptcy law.
